Actually, it's also ang pao from another angle. At least they are addressing all the legitimate concerns of Singaporeans , whether foreign talents, education etc, all close to our hearts. But he gave up on the childbearing part.

Can only be proven if we can have a control test, ie. have the boy do the GEP tests without attending any classes. Since it's not possible, it remains questionable if the child was gifted by nature, just like those kids who attend GEP prep classes and managed to clear the rounds.

Btw, please don't be mistaken that I'm against sending kids to enrichment/training classes. I just feel that there's no need to be hostile to those who choose to send their kids for last minute prep classes.

Oh yes, to each his own. But just wondering about the kids, whether being 'artificially' trained to get in will spell trouble for them in future. Heard of cases whereby the children ended up in IMH. Real cases.

Looks like in kids’ eyes now, parents will be looked upon as their heros only if you acn earn $$$$$$$$$$. Sad or not huh?
