Hi limcarmel,

My girl also eating the same noodles for the 1st 3 days. Over the weekend, she asked me to prepare sandwiches and packet milk or milo for this week. I think the canteen food is quite pathetic. More than happy to prepare that for her.
oh i also prepare bread, biscuits and packet soya/milo for her.

Mindy_7, yes my gal’s appetite increased these few days. not sure if it is because of the long hours, as my gal also attached after sch care.

hi limcarmel, that means that the piece of paper that they gave us is misleading leh... luckily i never sew yet...

hullo... after i asked them i saw it in their sch website too.. in the school rules section.
4. Name-tags should be sewn on the edge of the pocket of the shirt for boys; on the right of the pinafore for girls; and above the school badge on all T-shirts.
• RE: score 199 which secondary school

mummychua:
i scored ard 200 during my psle almost 20yrs ago, got into a not so good sec sch. my twin sister who scored lower than me have no choice but to go to a NA in a better sec sch.

I started at the bottom of the class and came out top at my 'o' level, i did not go to a jc but manage to get myself into a popular course in poly.

as for my sister, she took 5yrs to complete her sec sch, mixed with a batch of not so good friends. took a course in poly that take her to no where. and she's still struggling today.

if possible, go for express course.
i beg to diff. i scored 199 my time and can only opt for Normal stream. though i spent 5 yrs in sec sch and i must say i scored better than some of the pple from express stream. I got into Poly and then got my degree. quite a number of my frens got into poly and then uni and all of us from normal steam.

so i guess it's not whether express or normal stream you got into. it's the individual and the group of frens you mixed with.

Cedar Pri highest score for PSLE this year is 265 if I'm not wrong. Saw it in the other threads.

May I check with mummies here how you will be sewing the name tags for your kids uniform? The paper I received says that the name tags should be sewn above the school badge but because my son's full name is long than the width of the badge, it looks kind of weird...

We also googled for images of the school uniforms and realise that there's many variations of the name tag positions. Sometimes its sewn at the top of the pocket etc...

Any ideas? TIA!
i did ask the school reg the name tag. for the white skirt is the edge of the pocket.

for their PE Tee will be above the school badge.

Hello Mummies, hope that everyone managed to get all their stuff today. Just wondering, at P1, they will only use pencil right? And may I also check how much you ladies are intending to give your kids as pocket money?

Is $2 enough? give too much later worried that they will spend on erasers....lol Oh ya, can i check for this house thing, usually all the kids in one class will be in the same house right? TIA 🙂
ya i only bought pencils for her.

we are planning to give her $1.50 a day.

i think a class will have all 4 houses. cause on the orientation day i saw my girl's classmate, same class but in diff house - diff colour PE Tee.

did you all buy the sch shoe dat day? the smallest size cannot even fit my girl.

Hello mummies, just want to share that I received a pack from the school. Inside the envelope are the following:

1) Booklist
2) Deduction form for fees
3) A pink form
4) A form to arrange for school bus
5) A dental consent form
And a few more other stuff, most of the forms need to be filled up by next Fri.

Seems that there's 4 classes next year, D.E.A.R. and my son is in P1R (Responsibility). Any possibility of our kids being in the same class? 🙂
thanks for the info! have not open my letterbox yet! must open today!

Cedar intake i think about 120 students per year. so 30 each class. will be 4 classes for all levels...
