My 3.5 son currently is with Kumon and he is learning addition now but I’m thinking to let him try Kumon I had checked on CMA website for his age he will be learning numbers as well but since my son had already know how to write and count from 1-120 I don’t think think he still need to write numbers.Any classes that are abacus totally? Or any better advices ? Thanks

RE: I Can Read - Discussion
Dear mummies, my son 3yo had went for the assessment last sat at bedok branch. He was recommended the i can read Preliminary program but due to his age , his much younger than other kids in the class he was recommended for the 1for 1 session which cost $40plus for 30mins session.I find the fees very high.I will prefer him to attend as a group 1.5hr lesson but was advised to put him in Thinking and creative class for afew sessions instead as the kids there about the same age as my DS then if he can cooperate well then put him in preliminary class.I was rather confused. Why cant they put him in the preliminary class straight away just becoz he is younger. Can mummies advise me on this? thanks.

Shichida Vs Glenn Doman
Hi
My son is currently 16 months old and is in Shichida since he is 9 months old.So far he enjoyed himself in class and i do follow Shichida methods and flash to him 5 times a week.I am always very curious about Glenn doman method and im thinking to try their method.I will have to purchase a new sets from them which include a english, chinese and maths sets from them before they will conduct a lesson to teach me how to follow the timetable to teach my child.Glenn doman seems to focus more on words cards whereas Shichida more on picture cards. Can mummies advise me GD methods requires flashing the word cards in high speed as well? If i will to follow GD method,i will have to drop out Shichida method? I am really confused.I hope mummies can advise me the difference. -
