Yes. When yr child gets offered 2/3 COs, it's satisfying to know yr child's caliber is affirmed. So be kind & make decisive will to keep the most desired CO & let other kids hv a chance.

I honestly do not think any school will convert a Rejection to a WL.


However, a WL may possibly be converted to a CO, depending on the take-up rate of 1st batch of COs offered & how high you're on the WL ranking.

Hence, for those who rec'd 2-3 COs & can be decisive & let go of their COs early w/o delays, it'll certainly benefit those kids on WL. Not holding on to the 2 extras means you're blessing the other kids on WL. Make wise decisions

Yes. Remember some P shared during open house that if you decided to let go of the CO, pls let school know early in order not to waste the limited CO.

What The:

Does schools also email/ snail mail the rejection together with the successful candidates? Just thinking if they will only snail mail the rejection by 31 August.

To ease the anxiety, it is good to know the outcomes earlier, be it a rejection.

However, if CO candidates are notified earlier and some opt for one CO than the other do inform school of rejecting the CO. Will school then convert some WL to CO, some rejection to WL. Provided school has not informed on WL/rejection status.
