    • RE: DSA 2016

If you ever type 'Altius Global' while pondering over DSA preparation for your precious child, you have just done the right thing ! I am a happy mum to share my rewarding experience about the success of my DS's path for DSA using \"Shooting \" (Air Rifle)

Like any other parent , I always want the best for my DS (my child #2). Ever since DS did not secure a place in P3 in the GE (my child #1 was fr the GE), I was exploring another 'road to Rome'. I believe strongly that
      1. DS has potential in many fields , not just in the GE
      2. Though DS can /may still make it to top schools using PSLE score , there will be a prolonged stress and risk
How then can I give DS an equal chance as his sibling so as to boost his self esteem ?
From what I know /heard, it's as though when a child is in the GE, you are holding a triumph card in a game as GE seriously has 'weight ' towards DSA although not all Geppers secure places via DSA exercise.
I told myself I have to find an avenue to help DS embark on a special talent to gain easier access to the door of DSA , so I started doing my homework to explore a \"niche\" sport.
      I chanced upon \"shooting \" , gave Altius Global a call & enquired.
Brought DS down to the shooting range (Bukit Batok HometeamNS) for trial. Coaches will assess if child is suitable for air rifle or air pistol.
Although DS is a very self motivated and conscientious pupil in studies , first I heard, then it became record has shown it is extremely competitive and almost impossible for the mainstreamers to end up in dream top schools no matter how outstanding his academic performance can be unless he or she has a special talent.
Thought why not give \"shooting '
\" a try since all boys being boys love \"shooting games \"
DS took up immediate interest and is still extremely enthusiastic till today ! Altius global coaches are of first class and give their best , they ensure all lessons are fruitful !
DS is so happy he has secured a place in top schools .
I would like to take this opportunity to let everyone here know that :
      1. Research and prepare in advance is essential
      2. DS/DD must have a passion , it will not be unleashed till you try it out In my case - \"shooting\"
      3. Altius Global can be truly trusted , success rate very high though not guaranteed
      4. Child has to work hard academically too from P4 to P6
      5. There are many roads to Rome don't forget
I really hope my sharing will help encourage all parents on! Jia you ! : :xedfingers:
