      Lock,

My son is also in Rulang, he got selected round 2 as well. Really don't know what to do now, I like Rulang, school is aggressive and push well to their pupils. But giving up this, is it a bit waste?

Hard to decide! Don't like him to face daily pressure under high demanding GEP. His incoming pressure will be my problem! I am kind of reluctant to place him there.

There will be a briefing in school on Mon, 6.30pm. I highly suspect the Sch is going to counter offer the selected students to stay on in Rulang. Will see what is the Sch offering before making a decision.

I don't understand why Rulang must counter offer these selected students. The school should give their blessing if they decided to enrol into the programme. Isn't the school not align with MOE intention?

Putting the elite together may not be a bad thing because they can be more competitive.
It really depend whether your kids like challenges or just want to remain smooth sailling without much competition, no challenges etc.

At the end of the day, give your kid a neutral perspective of the programme and hear him/her view.

Anyone has more information on the new principal?

Here's what I gathered from the Endeavor Primary School thread.
Mr Chia Soo Keng was actually transferred from Nan Chiau Primary School to Endeavour in 2005/2006 to setup the new school as a principal.

In the thread, you able to see that the students in the school like him a lot.
Hopefully he can bring HPPS to another level higher.

Very unhappy with RGPS administration. All other schools released GEP result Fri liao. Why only RGPS hold till next week. Unnecessary torture for P3 parents during the weekend!

My understanding is that the principle has already received the result, the envelopes are on her desk on Friday.
Maybe she was not around at that point time, maybe she received the envelope too late.
