Greendale vs Compassvale, which one to choose? Any feedback please?

Can anyone advise is Compassvale (cop 210) or Pei Hwa(cop 219) better? Understand Compassvale had 61.3 percent of student eligible to go JC last yr. What about Pei Hwa?

My girl scores 216. We thought of putting Pei Hwa as 1st choice and Compassvale as 2nd. Or should we put Compassvale instead? Any advise? Thank you!

My girl got 216. We stay in punggol and is thinking of 1st choice as PeiHwa (cop 219) or Compassvale (cop 210). We are told not to try our luck to select sch with higher cop than yr score. You may lose out yr 2nd choice even if u meet their cop eg Compassvale. Our initial plan is Edgefield Sec but is already out of our reach.

Can anyone feedback on Compassvale Sec? Know they focus a lot on Maths, Science n STEM.

We stay at tampines and is within 1 km frm Eastspring pri. My hubby was an old boy of Mee Toh Pri but we hoped to put our kids in either Pei Chun or Aitong. Furthermore, Mee Toh is at Ponggol, location seems to be quite out of the way..thinking of moving to Toa Payoh but flats there not new and is expensive..my parents stay at bishan but is 1-2 km away frm Aitong.. Heard stay within 1km also need to do PV in Eastspring Pri..


Can anyone advise..shd we move to Toa Payoh for Pei Chun and at the expense of expensive flats there? My child born in 2006..Gan cheong now as need time to get ready for all the diff issues...

One thing i do not understand is that since MTS set high std test and exam papers, then how come i do not see top scorers coming frm it? Esp the top scorer’s result was only 265 in yr2008…and in the school academic ranking, it is not listed anywhere? Correct me if i am wrong…and i really hope i’m wrong as i intend to put my children in MTS as we need not do PV. I also heard that the school only focus only top classes than the weakers…Can someone advise? Really in a dilemma now…

My niece now Pr 3 in MTS…heard her parents say papers difficult esp the maths and chinese and she score better in ATS’s maths paper than her own school…

Hmm…sch in ponggol…wondering which sch…may be affecting my decision… hope is not MTS…gosh…


I think that school whose objective is to only take care of good n bright students shd not be considered to send yr children to…this is poor and irresponsible management. Maybe ISO shd be conducted to all schools as well whahaha… to ensure fairness and consistency…

i’m staying within 1 km frm Eastspring, heard it is a rather HOT sch. My hubby was an old boy frm MTS. Our prob is we do not have the time to do PV if we choose to go for Eastspring…But if we choose to go MTS, we would have to shift to Ponggol which i think it is a bit far…plus i do not knw how academically gd is MTS though it is HOT…can anyone provide me with the suggs?
