Anyone here has personal experience (or know someone with this experience) of transferring your child to a different school because of many bad experience in the school?


I am thinking of doing that for my child. He is unhappy in the present school.

Appreciate any advise.

Recently my son told me that his classmates are scolding him vulgaritues so he went to report to the form teacher and he just ignored my child

Should I call the teacher to inform and clarify ? Or do I accept this as a normal behavior of children playing soccer?

Any advise for a child who has no confidence and does not want to try to study?

Start at his level, even if it is below where he should be according to school standards. Give him a taste of getting things right and gradually acquiring skills and knowledge. Take small steps and be patient even when progress is slow. Be very encouraging and never compare with others, only compare with the child’s past performance. Praise a lot for real progress and sympathise with difficulties. Try to find ways to teach/learn that suit his learning styles. Have frequent breaks and little rewards.
