Hi, i have finally got a Z mini BM, baked twice with the recipes given by Z. Bread crust is hard & bread is \"chewy\", i'm so discouraged... Can someone give me some recipes that i can try, i hv been trying to read previous posts but it's just too much for me as some are not meant for Z mini BM. 1 recipe for regular bread & 1 with tz will do, pretty please... πŸ˜„

Hi, I'm planning to get a breadmaker and i'm clueless as it will be my 1st purchase. Can anyone recommend? At a much earlier post, i read about horizontal pan or vertical pan, does it make a different? And how and when should i start baking if i want the bread to be ready by 6.30am? Is it ok to let the bread stay inside the breadmaker for many hours once it's baked? What type of bread knife would you recommend? Sorry too many questions but i hope someone can help me. TIA.

Quite a few of us have the Zojirushi bread maker here. It's a very good bread machine, is compact, but makes smaller loaves. The other popular brand is Kenwood which makes bigger loaves.

On average, from start to finish, it'll take you about 3 hours to bake a loaf of bread. If you want your loaf at 6.30am, you can set it on timer the night before. It's best not to keep the baked loaf in the machine for too long as the residual heat will continue to bake the bread.

Thank you jtoh for your advice. I also just found out that there's timer in the breadmaker.

Can someone pls advise which Science mag should i subscribe now? YS or SA? My DS love reading them (he read old issues which i had subscribed many yrs back for my DD) Can anyone give feedback on both, very much appreciated.

There are copies of Science Adventures in Popular. Ask your kid to read and decide which one he like.

My kids like both, and \"pleaded\" me to subscribe to both. In the view of encouraging their interest in science, I did πŸ˜“

Thanks for your advice, SAHM_TAN, maybe i should do that πŸ˜„
