1) The price of a table is $210, inclusive of 5% GST. If the GST is increased to 7%, how much must Ah Seng pay for the table?
2) Every pupil was accompanied either by 1 or 2 parents to a graduation ceremony. If the ratio of no. of pupils to no. of parents is 7:9, what fraction of the pupils came with 2 parents?

1) there are 2 numbers. 1 number is 41 less than the other number.
if the larger number is increased by 10, it will be 4 times that of the smaller number.
find the larger number.
2) at first, a fruit seller had apples and pears in the ratio of 3:5. after he sold 1/2 of the apples and 38 pears, the ratio of the no. of apples to the no. of pears became 9:11.
how many apples did the fruit seller have at first?
3) a school library has a collection of chinese, english and malay books. 0.2 of the books are malay. 0.2 of the remainder are english and the rest are chinese. if there are 4160 chinese books, find the no. of malay books. -
