kit:Hi, if you all managed to find any alternative transport can you also let me know. I'm at toh yi and the pick up time is also at 6.10am. It's only like 10mins drive away but my girl have to wake up at 5.30am everyday.I totally agree with you. We are over at CCK area and the pick up time is 6.05 am. If we can arrange for alternative transport which does not require our children to wake up that early and to be in school that early will be great.lovemyson:Hi parents,
I'm not sure if anyone here lives at Bukit Batok area (Hillview Avenue) and find that the school bus service pick up time it's too early. I.E. 610am when the new single session starts at 745am (assembly at 730am). I'm looking for alternative transport for my son, such as vanpool, private bus or carpool. Partly because of my new work timing and new single session timing, I'm unable to send him. Thank You.

jetsetter:
so if i didn't do any statutory declaration means probably i won't even have the chance to ballot.lysa:
If have to go thru balloting in phase 2A, will the distance affect the chances? I'm registering under phase 2A2, but looks like may have to ballot. Should i do the statutory declaration to put my in-law's address? will it give a higher chance if need to go thru balloting? *starting to panick*
Balloting
If statutory declaration is used, children who are registered using either the grandparent’s or the parent’s sibling’s address and residing within 1 km or between 1 km and 2 km from the school of choice are balloted together with the other children of the same citizenship residing between 1 km and 2 km from the school.
Those with own address within 1 km will go first...then your turn in the next draw for 1-2km group.

Hi qms, thanks for the info.lysa:
Do you have any idea if i need to do the statutory declaration now before I apply for PV or can I do it before P1 registration?
There were talks that Pei Hwa only accepted PVs in the < 1 km category. Maybe Pei Hwa parents can confirm?
You only need to do the statutory declaration just before the P1 registration.
Suggestion is to apply for PV and come registration time, apply with Henry Park at P2A first before you decide further.
I called up the school regarding PV already.

If I am not wrong (anyone -- corrects me if I am incorrect), you have to do a Statutory Declaration if you want to use your parent's address.lysa:
Hi,
Can I get some advice from you all.. My girl is born in 2008 and she's staying with my parent during weekdays. Understand that during registration if I put my parent's address it will fall under phase2B 1-2km eventhough it's just beside.
http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/primary-one-registration/statutory-declaration/
But you will not fall under phase 2B but phase 2C
