Last year, RGS released on 28/8 at about 5 plus. RGS usually will release earlier than NYGH but this year NYGH released earlier. Hopefully, RGS will release today.

Any idea how many is RI taking in total via DSA? Means 40 sports and how many academic? Wondering if the proportion will be similar for other IP schools?

Some girls are called directly to RGS interviews, others to the RGS HDP. As for the selection criteria as to interviews or HDP, only RGS knows. But according to earlier postings by various forummers, it is believed that the “stronger” girls will get interviews direct while the “strong” will be called to the HDP, followed by interviews. Whatever it is, these girls all deserve a pat on their shoulders for being shortlisted among thousands of applicants.

this year for Sci domain 3 gals were SPSO gold medalist(GEP). 2 attended HDP on Sat and the one only attended interview.So how does RGS classify strong or stronger candidates is still a mystery.[/quote]Could it be the two girls have not as strong overall results? For maths domain ‘interview’ held on Tuesday and Wednesday last week, it is actually a written test related to a video and group work to solve a problem whereas for the other subjects domain, they are really interviews. But I am not sure what is done for HDP last Saturday. The teacher did tell us that the same test will be held for the maths domain. Is it true? Did they do anything else? What about the other domains? What did they do for HDP?

We went for Math domain at RGS this week and were told that those who went these few days will definitely not need to go for HDP on Sat. The teacher also confirmed that there will be no further test or interview. It is now the LONG wait up to end August.

Does RGS give out WL? I was told only CO or rejection.

For RGS, it seemslike they are doing different things for different subject

English - 20 mins interview in group of 4 by 2-3 interviewers similar to last year
Maths - 1hr 30 mins interactive discussion

Science and Chinese not sure … any idea ?

Can any kind parent share how many classes of academic Dsa are there in this year Sec 1 classes? Do they group by subject? If yes, can have a gauge of the number taken in by each subject … Thanks
