Ridiculous.5 something in morning. What we didn't like about this camp are
1) It's too close to CNY! Heard from DD that they always have a few
kids falling sick during past years' camp. Falling sick now would certainly
put a damper on CNY celebration. :sad:
2) They only gave us the things-to-bring list yesterday!
They have this camp every year, so why can't they give us the list
earlier? Now we only have one weekend to get everything ready. :sad: :sad:

From my experience,
I will never get transfer maid again.
Because of many reasons,
I was being made to take a transfer maid as I was going to deliver my baby in another month time( I got to train her to cook n handle my 2 elder kids ), who I knew was with her previous employer for only a week.
I myself have another maid who is with us for 4 years and need to be bk to INDO for 3 weeks(the period when I will deliver anytime).
I didn’t want her at all but my MIL said its ok, we can changed her if we are not ok with her.
another big mistake.
She was with me for only 1 month and 2 weeks & I can tell u the many things she did!
I wanted a Indo Maid yet a Filipino came.
She has 3 kids herself and yet not loving at all.
I have made it clear NO HP (as I need her to help me with my baby and its NOT OK to let her have her hp with her) n yet after me checking her bag with no hp,
she ended up to have not 1, but 3 HPs few days later!!
I realised she has been using her hp during the day n night time…
I caught her using and I used her if she is making an important call to her hus/children,
She told me " I am talking to my FRIEND."
So I asked her if she want to use it during her nap time, or just night time.
either one, she got to hand her hp back to me when she is not using.
I don’t see myself at any fault as when I first stated, it is clearly NO HP.
I also informed the maid agency, who told me to give her another chance.
I gave her a routine to follow, n can nap for an hour in the noon as it’s dangerous for her to take care of my baby if I need to send my 2 elder kids for classes.
she napped for an hour, and asked for another hour as she said she has finished what she should do.
every night I will give her her hp at 9pm which she requested and I don’t see it as a problem since its her bed time.
but aft 2 weeks, she asked for it earlier and earlier.
She will give me attitude whenever i tell her to do things, but most importantly, when I tell her to bath my daughter.
I mean she has 3 kids herself and yet not patient and loving at all.
She will sit on the massage chair to use her hp when we are out
(she request to have her hp when she stays hm while I bring my kids out)
after changing my bedsheets, she will sit on my bed to change the pillow cases.
when I told her she shouldn’t do that, she asked me "WHY CANNOT"
it was also later that I realised when she is here for the 1st week,
she got her don’t know who to come to our House, to pass her money.
when I told her she must informed me if she wants anyone to come to our plc as I have 2 kids have hm and what if things happen,
she asked "WHY CANNOT" again.
I checked her stuff when she is out and realised she has a book, full of SG contact numbers
only here for a month and yet she has so many friends???
She kept insisting to have her off day on the 19th May which I told her I cannot confirm as I will be delivering on the 1st week of May, my 1st maid will only be returning to SG on the 10th May and I need to make sure everything is settled before I can approve her leave.
and U know what?
she actually called my maid who is in INDO to confirm if she is coming bk on the 10th so she can have her off day on the 16th May.
she even complained to my maid that I always gave her her hp aft 11pm which I NEVER.
she asked me for her leave not once, not twice, but so many times!!!
I have also told her not to off the lights in the living room until I am home as I was heavily pregnant then and I need the light to be on.
As I reached hm 30mins past 9pm, which is very late for her as she needed her HP at 9pm.
she off all the lights, including the lights at the carpark,
and locked the glass door which only the last person who came hm will lock as it can be only opened from the inside,
to let me know how unhappy she is!!!
When I managed to get my MIL to open the door,
I went to her and asked her if she knows she need to have the lights on,
she opened her door, showing her very black and unhappy face, slammed open the kitchen door,
told me she WANTS HER HP!!
so I told her ok, go to my car and carry my daughter as she’s aslp and I m just a week away to delivering,
she went to my car, carrying my daughter in bride’s style, and want to swing my daughter’s body to let my daughter’s legs hit the car door for it to close,
right infront of me( still very angry typing this out!)
so I shouted to her to bring my daughter into the living room, and instead of asking me what else she needs to help me with, she stood at the door, with her arms folded.
I put her hp on the table, she took it, walked to her room and slammed her door, loud and clear.
the next day I called up the maid agency and complained…
they kept trying to delay me and tell me they will need time to get me a new one , all the excuses.
and I asked them If they are going to take responsible if anything happen to my kids when I go deliver.
very angry with their service.
when my 1st maid came bk on the 10th May, I also got the incharged to bring this transfered maid away.
she cried badly and said she didn’t leave.
and when she knew she have to leave, the first thing she asked was,
"what about my off day!"
seriously…
I am so glad she is out of our house!!!
if u are going to ask me about the maid agenecy.
