      sorry, been away. Thanks for the tips! Wow, I didn't know that allergic itch can last for a week! :shock: I get allergic reactions as well, but they usually last for only one night - will be very intense with facial swelling and burning palms, but usually ok by the next day. But DS2's rashes seem to be a build-up sort of reaction, so maybe it's like what you said, can last for a few weeks.

      He can't take any fish/seafood products, not even fish oil. But I give him flaxseed oil. Hope that will help. He's skinny enough already.

      How is your boy now? My dd also has very bad eczema, and the skin prick test showed dust mites to be the cause as well.

      How has the miele been so far? I'm considering either the rainbow or miele. Read the same things about mould and leakage of dust from the rainbow, but not sure if those refer to older models. Would prefer the miele if it is effective since i think having to lug the rainbow around may be a deterrent to frequent use....
