Anyone with problems logging into iNet portal? I had problems logging into the parent’s portal but it was resolved before 30 Dec. Now my girl has problems logging into the student portal, and currently still waiting for itcare’s reply. Anyone with similar problem or only me? 🥺

    • RE: 2019 PSLE Discussions and Strategies (Children born in 2007)

Have tried DSA for DS(sports)in 2017, and DD(academic) in 2019, but both attempts were unsuccessful. The kids felt disappointed and stressed thereafter as they know they’ve got to do well for PSLE. But they recovered quickly and moved on. Turned out both did very well, high 25+ n 27+. I suppose being unsuccessful in DSA is not a bad thing, and definitely not end of the world becos it pushes the child to do better. The feeling of choosing school like ‘buffet’ feels kinda shiok, compared to being tied down by the CO if the Tscore allows you to go to a better/much better school. So my point is, good to try DSA as it removes the psle stress. But if unsuccessful, look on the bright side, things may turn out better. Advice to parents/kids taking psle 2020 and after.

Contemplating between Nan Hua High & Catholic High (O level) as first & second choice. My boy’s score is 250. Any comparison or feedback for these 2 schools? Thanks in advance!
My son is studying in catholic high IP. He says the O level boys are very strong. The school gives equal emphasis on both streams. There is no discrimination/bullying in this school. At a COP of 250, the school ensures the standard of the O level. Affiliates can get in at 240, and it is still a very high express score, compared to others that accept at 230-220 into their O level stream.

Hi, another question on CCA. My girl plays tennis for recreation, thinking of joining the tennis team (hopefully she is good enough to be accepted into team). How many times per week for training?

Hi, does anyone have the Sec 1 book list? Thinking of getting my girl to reuse some of her korkor’s textbook from another IP school. Hoping to save some money…

This time round he didn’t make any mistake. His phone dropped by accident. How can that be 明知故犯?

Ejmom, my girl wrote the same as your son. She said the person who dropped the phone is innocent, it was an accident. Dats why she wants to help him. Let’s hope our kids will get some marks.
