if u have no affiliations (via church/clan/V'teer (P2B), have a kid in the school or parents are former students / staff (P1thru P2A2)) and is using only home distance, then you will be in P2C.

I read from MOE website tt balloting is required but
I did not receive SMS nor email notification about the timing.
Called up school several times but there were no answer.

oh dear,... the school should have notified u one way or another about the timing. On the bright side, one need not be present for the balloting. If successful, the school will notify you or u can check in the latter part of today.

And now, the 1-2km parents will make their moves after lunch.


Brace yourselves if u are >2km with a chance of ballotting currently… monitor situation well.

Congrats to all who were successful in getting their kids into their choice schools in P2C. For those who need to ballot, and there are many, all the best next Tues! :xedfingers: Keep faith and it is really not the end of the world if u fail to get in. Our kids can still do well in the other schools too given our support.


I myself was balloted out at 2B this year and wouldn't wish that on anyone. That is one of those low moments in life not having your number called. At 2C, due to proximity, I didn't even have a chance to try registering in the same school But with the network of info and sharing by all, I was able to get my DS into our backup school.

Thanks to Chief Kiasu again, :udaman: for his foresight in coming up with and diligence in maintaining this incredible website. It was here I managed to get my DD into her school 2 years ago. And here again, I had relied on KSP to strategize my latest registration. Like I said 2 years back, long may this website be around to help concerned parents make the right choices.

Thanks also to all the forum participants who shared info and figures so willingly and expeditiously. Your contributions are what keeps all of us informed and what keeps this forum/site alive.

OMG!!! Most of the schools in the East are over subscribe.


So worry... Need advice on ST Stephen and Ngee Ann Pri.
My first choice is NAP (1-2km) and ST (>1km) as my backup plan.
I am more keen on a co-ed school. That's why I prefer NAP, but now NAP is already over subscribe on the 1st day!

Dilemma:
- shld I stay with NAP for ballot? (1-2km) 92/88 seats - 1st day
- I know I'll get a better chance with SSP (1km), but their Chinese standard is not so promising I heard there will be no P2Cs.

yes, there are a few buses that leaves the childcare @ the end of the day at about 6pm daily. As for wat time the bus will arrive, that depends when u r staying. . . .
