Awww. hang in there. Humanities subjects are important and the skills learnt there will help in GP for A-levels.

Surprised to hear that not many take up CS for A levels. I thought boys like CS. Initially, I also thinking of asking DS take minimum subjects for A levels as he has commitment in CCA and various competitions. But a relative advise me that better take more for pre-requisites,too. Now that you mentioned, I wonder how many is good? What is the typical combination?

Lexis,my boy likes humanities lah. Just that he only gets 2 all the time. he says he cannot get MSG 1,no matter how hard he tries.

Last year, DS was informed of the details 6 days before training. So no worries.

No worries. UC Berkeley is for iSpark, according to my DS. He graduated a few years back. He was from the Humanities Programme, and they went to Beijing, UK and The Hague in the Netherlands for Model United Nations even!

After graduating from HCJC, now, he is giving other HCI juniors tuition. They tell him that there a couple of new overseas trips coming up.

There are exchange Programmes held by individual Consortiums. Each consortium has different partner schools overseas such as to Brisbane , Seoul , Japan , Tasmania etc.

However , most of the time , Sec 3s and 4s are the ones going on overseas trips. Come upper secondary , there are winter satellite campuses immersions in Beijing , Xi An.

How about UC Berkeley? DS says he heard this was one of the school mentioned during one of the symposium,that is why he chose HCI.
