per batch ?[/quote]Around 500 students take H2 Physics, amongst them, maybe around 10% take a H1 contrasting subject (such as H1 econs or otherwise). Taking 3H2+1H1 may be better choice for some students, workload more manageable. Those taking 4H2, if at the end of the year didn't do too well, should also consider dropping 1 H2 to H1. It is not a bad thing actually. Dropping science subject, for example, the workload cut a huge chunk, plus no need to do practical.

Usually, the results would not turn out as disastrous as the students may perceive. They felt it is a killer, because it is their first time doing such a major assessment and it is no doubt quite challenging for most students.

That said, sometimes individual subjects may pitch their difficulty slightly off, either too easy or too hard. But across 4 subjects, it would likely \"average out\".

Ask her not be discouraged, just use the test to figure out what she is weak in and work positively forward!
