      Hi parents,

I’ve coached my three kids through PSLE Maths, and one challenge was explaining solutions using the methods they were taught. I’d often reach for algebra when they needed a model.

I put together an animated walkthrough of a recent question shared in this group. It shows the working step by step:

It’s on MathBrush, a site I built from questions and explanations I collected while helping my kids. My niece is taking PSLE this year, which prompted me to put these resources together for others to try.

Access is free during this testing period; if prompted, use review26.

If you try the explanation, I’d love to know which steps are clear and which need more explanation. You’re also welcome to share a question in the comments that you’re finding hard to explain. I’ll try to make a walkthrough.

Hope this helps with revision. All the best to everyone preparing for PSLE!
