Hi all
I just paid an booking fee for a HDB resale unit, and the OTP is due to be signed in 14 days time. I will be registering my daughter under Phase 2C
Will MOE base the proximity of the school I choose on my current residence or the "new"residence which I am buying. I do not expect the lease of agreement to be signed anytime now, but at least in 3rd or 4th quarter 2013.

1st Question: Will MOE base the proximity of the school I choose on my current residence or the "new"residence which I am buying. I do not expect the lease of agreement to be signed anytime now, but at least in 3rd or 4th quarter 2013.
2nd Question: I am actually a bo chup parent who do not care less which Pri Sch my girl goes to. I agree with one of the forum contributors here which mentioned about a big fish in a small pond VS one in a big pond. Can make it means can make it. I am new to Pasir Ris and I am thinking of registering my girl in the nearest school, which is Loyang Pri. However, my wife does not share my view and prefer to reg her in Pasir Ris Pri or White Sands Pri. Her objective is at least enrol my girl in a "better" school than Loyang but not a stressful one. I remembered my mom putting me in a neighbour school which is not exactly the best (I was staying in Bedok then, and the best was Red Swastika, which still is the best), but to a "neither here not there" school, which is not the best, but not the worst off either. This is my wife’s view. However, I need a kind soul who can advise me about Loyang Pri. Is it really that bad?
Thanks to the contributors for the kind assistance
