Really depends on how much stress you give them I guess

RE: How to occupy your kid after school?
Usually my kids have lots of after school activities, all busy with cca, so you could say they’re a little too occupied

RE: Travel: United Kingdom - London
Does anyone have any recommendations for airbnb around London? Big enough to accomodate family of 4 and not to far from the city?

RE: Hwa Chong Institution (High School)

Son went for DSA once, if I've learnt anything, sometimes it's not about how much talent you have but how 'ok' your grades are. Some schools just want to meet the DSA intake criteria without sacrificing their overall academic standard.Hello,
I'm a new parent here on this forum.
I'm curious to know what are the chances for my daughter, who is taking her O level in a neighbourhood sec school in Sin Ming road, to enter Hwa Chong Institution via DSA. Here are a few of her achievements:
- Vice Head Prefect (Prefectorial Board)
- Head Secretary (St John Ambulance Brigade)
- Sergeant (St John Ambulance Brigade)
- Chief Commissioner Badge (St John Ambulance Brigade)
- Class Secretary (School, class-based)
- 2005 track-n-field national ranked top 16th in 100M B division 100m sprint
- Model Pupil
She has also won various awards in leadership and represented her secondary school in chinese composition writing competition, chinese riddle competition, didn't won anything but represented sch.
Any idea how much is her chances to get into HCI via DSA (JC) - Leadership?
Her academic is just average. Strong in Humanities, weak in sciences.
I need your input on this.
Thank you.
Rgds,

RE: Club Breadmakers
Been making my own bread for awhile until my bread making machine broke down, and they don’t sell it anymore. Anyone has any machines to recommend? Took me awhile to find a machine that didn’t give the bread a strange taste.

RE: Club Daiso
Haha daiso… one of the most useful things I get from here are the dehumidifiers. Use them to keep my wardrobes from smelling strange.
