Does anyone knows why it takes 8 weeks to release the PSLE results?

"The PSLE is already brought forward by a week for this year. Marking 4 days (say a week). Sending the scripts to HQ and redistributing back to school give them 1 week. Moderations and putting it into bell curve (can be computerised) - give them 3 days.
All in all 3 weeks."

How come the papers would be returned to respective schools? For what purpose?

Students must be think of the good aspect so they are happy about the news. Is it right? It is what one of my dd’s classmates explanation. Dizzy… Students are not only required to listen but also have to think … actually, it is not easy. Right?
