I called for the Open Day and was told that I should leave the phone number. Someone will call me to invite once school has a specific Open Day. I can’t wait to view the school as it’s my number 1 choice for my dd for year 2014. So far, the vacancy after Phase 2A1 still very high. I hope for the best for Phase 3 - please no ballot.

I’m living in Toa Payoh, thinking of registering my daughter in this school for 2014 P1. Wondering why this school has no posting about the children. I assume it’s not Singapore favorite school. Does it mean foreigner like my daughter have more chance in Phase 3? How does it like for foreign kid if she doesn’t have much Chinese?

I’m checking through schools for my daughter, who will be registering for her next year P1.

We live in Toa Payoh, expat, so we can only register in Phase 3. Right now, I have to find the closest schools, the ones that we have highest chance to get in.

My daughter has mixed looking, more Western look than Asian so we’re looking for school that she doesn’t stand out too much. We’re not aiming for big popular school as we want her to be able to have good time while she’s still young.

I look at the old record, this school has no balloting history. Is it right? Can you please share with me whether there are many foreign students in this school?

Hi, my daughter is born in 2007. We are not local so options in Toa Payoh where we live currently are none for my little girl. I was told that Guangyang still has over 100 spots after phase 2C. I don’t know about this year registration for 2014. Would love to know from mummies of Guangyang students of 2013 P1. We don’t aim for "big famous popular" school, we just want a friendly environment for our daughter. Our lease is expired in April so we’re thinking of moving to Bishan so that it’s close to the school. Still very nervous that she may not be able to get in to Guangyang. Please advise.
