MMM:verykiasu2010: does your credit card contain emv chip ?I had my card charged for a few airtickets at British Airways which I never fly withcard company reversed it and had since given me new cards with emv chipYes it does. It is POSB Everyday card.For some strange reasons, he only brought 1 credit card this time round. He only realised it at Frankfurt when he was tempted to buy a watch which he didn't in the end. So it's a blessing in disguise so he can contain the risk to just that card. I used about 3-4 different cards and upon seeing what happened, quickly check my online statements. Fortunately, I kept a itemised spending summary even for him as well so I know exactly where we went and the charges, etc...He has put up the paperworks with DBS so still pending for resolution. Did you do that the last time round, how long does it take? I understand that he needs to pay off the ??? charge first and then wait for resolution.But actually charges for airfare is quite direct in a sense that it can be track to the traveller. But this was a purchase at best buy so I wonder how are they going to track?I emailed the card company and that amount was taken off the bill immediately and did not have to pay first then wait for refund. it was amex
