Why don't you take a colored transparency, draw a line and cut out a section to trial first?


The line itself can certainly help a child who has trouble with visual tracking - for that a normal ruler or using a finger work as well. The color will help a child with color sensitivity, but the choice of color itself depends on each individual.

If it is visual tracking, it is possible to do some eye exercises to help improve that. If it is color and it makes a big difference, you may want to consider getting colored lenses in the longer run.

Parents, any of your DC has CA test soon? Will your school provide a schedule of test dates?

Just received the schedule of test dates. Tests will be held in feb before CNY.

Same for ds. They have mock tests to get them ready.

Can someone help me understand the appeal process? You mentioned to try to appeal before posting day (19 Dec?). How do you go about the appeal process? Go down to the school(s) with documents and meet with the principal before 19 Dec? Sorry to ask but I’m loss with this process.

I dun think they have exams anymore. Just topical tests. Holistic assessments. P1 and P2 are supposed to have their honeymoon years.

Yes, there is a topical review for Math on 20 Feb. The Math dept sent an email on this.

Did anyone here attend MTP session for P4? Please share the talk. I couldn’t attend due to family emergency. Also they mentioned on the slides that they uploaded the scope and sequence for English online. I can’t find it. Do you know where I can find it?
