Me and hubby are looking around for CC at Woodlands area. So, we wante dto visit Star Learners at Blk 764. When we passed by the CC, we saw the young teacher sitting on the chair with her legs up on the chair, playing with HP while the children sitting on the floor watching TV. There is also another teacher the other side of the CC, with children sitting down on the floor watching TV as well.

Well that's shocking! Did you call the headquarters to give them a feedback on what you had seen? Your feedback would have been a saviour for the poor kids who spend almost 12hrs a day there.
I've recently enrolled my child in their Woodlands 11 branch. Principal is polite but not as pro active as I would have hoped. Centre is clean, they are organised and the teachers are caring. I must say though that I find the Malay teachers in the centre are quite patient, caring and cheery. Unfortunately they do not keep the parents informed enough on the children's activities. I'm pretty sure they keep the kids engaged as and when necessary but wished they would give regular updates to parents. No complains otherwise, my child does not take to strangers very well but she bonded with her teacher sooner than I expected hence my comment above on teachers being caring.
