Thanks for your encouragement to me always. Appreciate it.

I am just glad PSLE is over. Can focus on other things, like tidying up the house where there are papers all around. About secondary school subjects, about how to spend these 3 months where cannot travel overseas.

I know right! Since last week, I have been reading up the secondary school threads trying to find more information on the programmes, subjects, textbooks etc. Not sure where to go, what to buy, what to do. Not much findings though.

yes, let's focus on other matters. What is done is done. PSLE is but a phase that we all will cross with our kids. Everyone's path is unique. Same storm doesn't mean same boat. Let's look forward.

Conclusion: fuck psle and let’s look forward for the holidays

If all the papers are relatively easier , how does that affect the t score ?

COP will go up?

I recall there was one year the COP of mid tier schools went up by a lot , some by as much as 6-8 and many were caught off guard
Cop might go down

No one wrote 命题?
My DS did the 命题 about 自私。 hope his story is ok 😅
Should 😄 be okay Lah. So long as your son writes interesting or average content should be okay. But it is advisable that students with a low or average command of Chinese should not write 命题 compo. 😄 😄
Is it ok if the child write like this?

Thinking that everybody was trying to help the old lady and no one was looking, the man decided to take the wallet and place it in his pocket. (2nd picture state that the man was looking when the old lady searched her wallet for money – look suspicious).

The girl shouted “thief”. The man decided to run away. One of the girl gave chase while the other called the police. Another passer-by heard the commotion, join in the chase and managed to catch the bad man. All of them were in the news for helping the old lady in getting back the wallet.

Yes. 😄

The big no-no is to write that the man pick up the wallet and returned it without hesitation. He can choose to return it eventually (for example, after some emotional struggle/dilemma) but the initial intention to take it for himself ought to be mentioned.

oh noo ... i wrote that both students and the boy were helping leh :// but my 6th picture was that he was late for tuition but he didn’t regret as he helped someone. how many marks would be deducted for 离题 ?
I think that the story u wrote is accepted, bcos they never give u a topic to write about and at pic 6, u can write anything u want. So long as u write correctly from pic 1 to 5 should be okay 😄 and u can write anything u want at the 6 pic because they just gave u the “?” Sign and it is for u to end the story by urself.

no, the answer is actually 89 and 90 because in one group of stars and hearts there are 3 stars and 2 hearts and the heart is last, and they said that there were 135 stars, so yeah 90 is right but then there also could be 89 too, because even if you minus that last heart you'd still get 135 stars and so you're supposed to write 89 and 90
plus they said what are the possible answerS ... i put 90 only and now i know my mistake 😞

Thanks for your explanation. My ds realised that he assumed too quickly and hence missed out on that extra heart. It’s alright 🙂 everyone gave their best today. Jia you for the next paper !
