This is a good move and gesture not to deprive others of an opportunity from the other school.

I have seen this girl who bravely rejected the CO as she doesn't want to limit her choices.

In the end she came in by PSLE despite being eligible for all schools and still join the sport as CCA. The CCA also gained another talent as a result of her rejecting the CO. Win-win situation!!

      rather un-usual, isn't it ?

      Then, in the first case,
why did this girl whom is described as \"bravely rejected the CO\", applied for DSA in the first case, spent so much time attended all the DSA tests & interview, but in the end only to reject & turn down all the COs that were issued to her ?
might as well shouldn't even apply for DSA in the first place, isn't it ?

What was the purpose (intention) behind, going through the motion (tedious process of attendance) of a few round of (DSA tests cum interview) with a few Secondary schools who had short-listed her, only to reject in the end ?[/quote]I don't find it unusual since I have heard of few such cases where applicants rejected CO from the various so called \"branded school\" . Perhaps they can't make up their mind yet and need more time to consider.
Personally I may not accept any CO ( if offered ) too.

      Hi MaMa Mon,

I think your considerations are very valid. Girls in the IB program for MGS typically scores >258. They used to run a strict test years ago for DSA admission before the new MOE system. The IB program also requires, amongst other things, a strong command of English as there are a lot of research and report writing.

A lot of O level track MGS girls choose ACJC while some will go RI. Few end up in HCI and very few in CJC, EJC, ASR etc

      Yes,
to reach a high Tscore of > 258,
each of the 4 PSLE subjects, require minimum > 90+ marks

Eh..I don't think one needs to score above 90 for all subjects in order to get a T-score of >258.
My DD didn't do very well for Chinese (A)but she managed to achieve 265

Yes you can’t apply for more than 2 domain for same school. For CHS, other than email, the boys will also receive a letter from Primary side too
