Hi All, I’m new to this forum… My elder son is currently 5 this year and am preparing for his registration as it’ll be next year… Just called Compassvale Primary and they told me that application is still open for kids born in year 2007… I have just submitted my PV application to Nan Chiau, but I think chances are low as I’m staying 1-2km away from the school…


I understand that NCPS will not accept any applications for anyone staying >1km away from the school for Phase 2C, therefore if my PV is rejected, there is absolutely no chance to get in…


I’ve basically shortlisted 2 schools should my PV application get rejected… They are Rivervale Primary and Compassvale Primary… I believe these 2 schools should be one of the better schools in Sengkang… Would there be a need to apply for PV should I go with Compassvale Primary?

And anyone can shed some light on the performance of the school in terms of academics and CCAs? I always believe there should be a balance between academics and CCAs like sports/music etc…

My last choice is to enrol my son in Sengkang primary, which is only one street across from my blk… And I think it should not be a problem getting into the school under Phase 2C Supp as it is not one of the popular schools…
