Hi, Is Mitsubishi starmex 18000btu just as quiet as 12000btu when in quiet mode? I can hear the blowing sound (18000btu) in my room but it is very quiet in my kids room. They told me because bigger btu thus has sound. I am not sure. Anyone can confirm. Thanks.

How old are your kids? Your iti seems quite packed which are more suitable for more 'bodily abled' people and so your kids may not be able to take it...
