Anyone did a late application for Malay SP? I’m wondering when/how we’ll know if the child has gotten it (or not).

Anyone knows how many girls actually dsa into plmgs? Wanna see have chance to get into express as non affiliated girl or not. 😅

only MOE n PLMGS have the statistics on this. But the maximum DSA number is 20% of the intake.

That could be the whole non-affiliation vacancy... so others don’t need to apply liao 😂

His practice for graduation is after school...

I don’t mind them planning this or that for lower primary. Have a fun fair. Something but to just read books or chat softly... like so lame.

Told him he can stay home from tmr.

i remember even in my time (eons ago), we could bring handheld arcade games, Uno cards, chess sets, etc to school after PSLE....agree tat reading n chatting softly won't go well with kids at all 😄

Western Bar and Tetris were games of choice then 😬

My child... he thinks it’s right to go to school even if it’s boring 😂 he said it’s just a few more days, he wants to get thru it without incident... he got pulled out during graduation rehearsal because he didn’t walk in a straight line. 😖

I told him okay. But if he feels he doesn’t want to go, just let me know.

      I just need to rant…

Now that PSLE is over, my child is bored out of his brains at school. They’re not allowed to bring any games to school - no card games, no board games (even blokus or chess…) nothing!

They can only read books or chat softly in class. The only time they’re allowed out is during 30 min recess.

      What’s happening??

And here I was telling him to study hard for psle and he can play after that. Back in the day the teachers will just screen movies in the school hall and we can either choose to watch or sit in our own groups to chit chat and do our own things.

Driving past another school (two days in a row) I see the children engaged in tally matches and rollerblading lessons.

So I really wonder, which school is more “normal” in today’s world.

      Thanks for letting me vent.
