Thank you for your reply. My kid will be registering next year for 2022. The reason why we want to move is because of the travelling time (Around 30-40 mins) plus my mom is the main caregiver for my kids. Even their current childcare is near my parent’s place. They have to wake up super early every day.


For my elder kid’s primary school, we are either looking at the one near the new area or the one at my parent’s place. But definitely not at our current place as no one will be at home. Getting a helper is quite impossible due to space constraints.

Hi, would like to seek for advice regarding resales HDBs. Our current bto flat has just MOP this year. We are looking to purchase a resale hdb nearer to my parents place which is at a matured estate (Central).


We have shortlisted an area which is within 4km from my parent’s place. But the flat was built in 1986; cost around 650k - 700k (128sqm for 5i). Very accessible with a famous primary school within 1km too. Around that area, there are a mixture of old and bto flats as well as DBSS.

1. Looking into long term investment, do you think it is worth getting? If we do have the intention to shift in the future?

2. Or do you think we should try to explore that DBSS (built in 2011) with a top up of 100-200k (4rm). Space wise will be similar to bto size I assume.

3. Or to explore “newer” and bto flat at the similar price of 650-700k. Same area but smaller size.

Hi everyone! I have a SG50 girl and will be enrolling her to P1 in 2022. I am desperate to look for advices regarding my sticky situation. (I realised I’m also too late to register for PV now.)


1. My mom is staying 1-2km from SMPS (Wilkie Edge). Understand that SMPS will only shift back in 2023. Any idea if we register her under 2C within 1-2km, the address will be SMPS or the relocated area? And if SMPS failed, the next shortlist will be Hongwen. What is the chance too?

2. Currently staying at Punggol and is looking to move nearer to my parent’s place this or next year. We have shortlisted TPY/Bendemeer. Can I know what is the chance of getting in to CHIJ TPY under 2C within 1km? The new place is also near to Peichun and KhengCheng.
