    • RE: Which package do you prefer ?

      Sad Citizen,

I totally agree and understand how you feel. When the lazy and attitude maid still working with me, I find myself more stressful than my office work. Now she no longer work for me, I am more happier even though I need to do all the housework.

      sad citizen:
Told my current FDW if she continues to be lazy, calculative, display poor working attitude, showed black face when mistakes (purposely made) pointed out, I don't need her services.

I don't need a person living in my house, intentionally trying to drive my blood pressure up and find every chance to have lesser chores. She gets at least 8 hours rest each day, even though some tasks not completed.

      Gave her many warnings.
Told her on 2 occassions, not happy to work for me, tell me frankly, don't make me angry on purpose, stop testing my endurance .... she weeped, hide in toilet, MIA when on errands (takes exceptionally long time) or simply showed me can't be bothered to carry out her services, the duties I've laid out clearly at her agency.

She was a transfer maid. Yes, she was punished with additional loan, who's fault? She felt not her fault, she's perfect! She thinks she's an excellent FDW but doesn't know why was kicked out from a super nice employer's house.

Told her sternly, if unhappy, just tell me and pay her agency 1 - 2 months salary for their services to find an employer who is not human aka will never get angry, means won't scold/no temper, no demands, no expectation and agree to let her lead a happy princess life on employer's expenses.

Why should employer bear the full loan? Didn't we paid high non-refundable agency fee, excluding insurance, etc to blood sucking agencies?
FDWs are poor thing, what about us? Who compensates us for what FDWs and agencies caused?

Why FDWs and their agencies didn't treat FDWs human, by not earning so much commission?

For employers who can afford higher salary or perks, their FDWs got to thank and work harder but how many will really appreciate such sympathetic employers ... FDWs? Unlikely. FDWs nowadays are mostly taking things for granted, thought they deserved perks without delivering a good job. We, as employee or citizens get rewards for efforts put in, FDWs think otherwise! Felt we owe them a living! We are defined as bad or demanding bosses when perks are not granted!

    • RE: Reasons to ask your maid to leave

      POA Teacher:
As far as I know, you have to return the maid to the agent if you want a free replacement from them.

But otherwise, you can just pack them off home.
I know of people who have sent theirs off.
Don't know if there has been any recent changes tho.
I guess no such rules, just the agent want to earn $$$$ from the maid and the new employer who taking over. I pity us pay so much of $$$ for the maid to come and end up we headache. What I find out from the new employer who want to take her, need to pay $1k++ to the agent and also minus 1 month salary from the maid.

My maid also same too. Any mummies know if that is a regulation for maid to complain to MOM about employer cannot send them if they do not want to go back ?

I tell my maid agent (also from phil) about I will buy a ticket and send my maid back to phil. My agent said i cannot do that, she tell me about the MOM rule, the maid can make appeal to MOM about employer. I wonder got such cases?

I think that the contract you signed with the (Singapore) agent will state that you have to return her to the agent (so that she could find another employer in Singapore) if you are not happy with her.

      .

My contract only stated that to pay $$ for replacement. The agent is blood sucker. They keep on telling me I cannot send her back if she want to transfer out. The purpose behind is they want to earn $$$ from her if she can transfer out. I just found out that the agent told her about I want to send her back  eventhough I request them not to tell her 1st, the agent pretend and say dunno when I ask them how she know that. Haiz, can we feedback to MOM about the agent?

    • RE: Reasons to ask your maid to leave

Already given my maid warning. Share with you my maid story here. My maid like to chat with her friends from the same country. Me and my hb already told her to stop doing that. After certain days we found out that she still continue doing that, continue meeting her friends. We closed 1 eyes and we pretend do not know about it. Then worst case happen, she kena sexual harassment by the Bangladesh guy, she make the report to the police. I believe she know that guy , otherwise the guy won’t have the gut to do that to her. When we asked her if she know that guy but she say no. After the incident, we give her last warning, we told her no more friend chatting out side our house or void deck. I even reminded her every morning. Again, we found out she still doing that. She left my 2 kids at home, and she is outside chatting with her friend. According to my kids, 5 to 10mins chat, i wonder, is that an items exchange everyday?

Beside this, there are other bad things about her. Sigh, I do not want to mention it here.

Thanks for your opinion. I read few examples in the forum site, some of them willing to pay expensive agent fees, but in the end got the problem maid. Selection of maid is depends on our luck. Agree?
