My sis-in-law commented that short people look small and less confident. Of course I'm not happy about it but to some extent must admit that being taller has more pros than cons.

I beg to differ. My sis is 1.55m tall weighing at less than 50kg pack such a punch that her nickname at work is chilli padi. I swear that she is same factory as I, but totally opposite in terms of physical appearance. When she was in her late twenties after becoming a mom, she decide to hv a current account. When she went to the bank, the officer told her that she got to be 21 yo in order to hv a current account. She was :x , flash her IC at the officer and told him off about assuming all small people to be underage.

I would be flattered if I were her. I hv always been told I don't look my age since I was 15, people always though I am at least 2 to 3 yrs older .

I am standing proud at 1.68m. After becoming a mom, feet size becomes 8.5, weight arh, still loosing after last weight-in.

I hv very wide-spread feet, cos I hate to wear covered shoes as a kid.
My gfs are believer that wearing covered shoes as kids prevent wide feet. They always insists on their girls wearing covered shoes.

No worries, I was 155m weighing 50kg, wearing size 7 shoes when I was in P6. I was already wearing adult clothings, cos back then :oops: in the 70s, not so fortunate to hv such nice clothes for youngsters.
I stop growing at age 16, erh :oops: I mean height and shoe size lah.

Although Dh is foreigner, but in respect of my culture, he would also observe the usual:


1. No sweeping away good luck after stroke of midnight of CNY’s eve.
2. Donning new clothes. Er, the no black is not possible, cos me would only wear black or denim bottoms. Would wear brighter colours, especially DS.
3. No swearing/cursing.

The no sharp objects part very difficult to observe, how to cook and prepare food without knieves and openers linda stuff?!

DH loves CNy, he love that we all get together to catch-up with one another, food glorious food, gambling, acting half his age, lead the kiddos in watchamaycallit activities, etc.

Not anytime soon, cos most rides wouldn't be ready.

Sure to hv teething problems and such that would be mood damper.
Also hoping to get some freebies/discounts thru DH's contact to go....
