I’m with Kenny Chin & BruceWang. My son also going to West Spring. Have been following the forums of West Spring as well as Bukit Panjang Primary Schools very closely and have read so many good and encouraging things about West Spring. I also visited the school website. Goodness me, there have been so many visitors to the website, over 13600 already!
I’m so happy if my boy is able to get a place tomorrow at phase 2C.That will ensure a confirmed place for my daughter and son in years to come. Next year will be harder to get into West Spring as will have phases 1 and 2B competing. Anyway, I’m sure we all pioneer batch have good chance as there are 209 vacancies. If we miss this opportunity, there’ll be no more new schools in Bukit Panjang as I heard that MOE will only be upgrading all the existing primary schools as part of PERI.
This school is platinum award building some more. So it’s environmentally friendly and the principal said that there are lots of open spaces for outdoor learning for the children and they will also be exposed to environmental education from young age. How nice & fun to get to learn outside the class. I saw pictures of the new norm classrooms. So cool, with parquet reading corners and relaxation areas for our children to rest! And the cupboards at the back of the classes are great as teachers get to keep the children’s books there, so school bags won’t be so heavy.
See you all tomorrow!
