I was trying to use the “Make A Supposition” method to solve the following question, but got stuck halfway through.

Bookmarks are sold at 4 for $5 and pens are sold at 3 for $4. Kenny bought an equal number of bookmarks and pens.He paid a total of $124. How many bookmarks and pens did he buy altogether ?
