Hi munchkukie and cherrygal,
Thanks for sharing! It's good to know that there are parents out there who are taking steps to ensuring that food isn't overly artificial. I was sent this link about ice cream which took an hour to melt (http://www.karrifamilyclinic.com.sg/2010/04/would-you-feed-your-kids-ice-cream-that.html) - that's a scary thought!!
Do your kids often ask for junk food and sweets though? Unfortunately, a lot of the \"very yummy\" food (to the kids, at least!) are full of salt or sugar.

Concerns over Food Preservatives and Colours
Hi parents!
Are food preservatives, flavourings and colours an important issue to you?
I recently met a mother who is a very healthy eater, and found out about some studies done on food preservatives and its effects on children. So I was just interested to know how concerned are other parents about their kids' diets and the kind of snacks they like to eat.
Thank you

RE: Lao Ban (Old Airport Rd FC) Soya Bean Curd
Thanks for the tip!!
Yes...some foods appear to be healthy (like beancurd or even some frozen yogurts) but then when you see the amount of sugar, you realize it's not that healthy after all! Am trying to work with different recipes so that I can ensure that my family eats better
