Hello, sorry for reviving old thread, but really need help on comprehension cloze. My DS is having trouble with this section. If he score a 8 or 9 I’m very happy le. Tried the method stated infront (the 8 step or so one), but it doesnt really help much, because DS just don’tget where to find the clues, or what are the clues, and sometimes dun understand the sentence with the blank (like why is there a need to put in another word?) Any help on how to find the the clues,or how to do well? I dont know how to explain why it is the sort of word the answer key says, or how to teach him to score better.


DS is p6 next year, and english/science is not very good, so i’m getting rather worried. Thanks.
