After reading some of the mails in this forum, it seems like St Stephen school is really a bad school, anybody has any ideal of the PSLE results last year?

Seems like an old post, but as a parent of Stephenians, I felt I needed to reply. No, St. Stephen's School is not a \"bad school\" (it is unfortunate that some apparently got the negative feedback from this forum). My two boys graduated from this school. As Catholics, we wanted to enrol them in a good Catholic school, so that the values they learn in school are compatible with what we, as parents, teach them at home. We were happy with how St. Stephen's School influenced our sons, from P1 to P6.

Academics-wise, my boys did not have extra tuition except for Chinese, yet they did well in PSLE (and 100% pass for their cohort). They were probably lucky not to have encountered \"bullies\" during their stay in this school. I understand that my boys also had classmates who frequently said \"bad\" words or cursed a lot. This is quite shockingly normal in kids these days, but again, luckily, my boys don't have this habit. I guess it all boils down to what we do as parents, regardless of the influence from their peers. We probably just need to constantly remind and guide our children, to help them discern right from wrong, while they're still under our care. Hope this helps. Good luck to (and God bless) the young Stephenians! šŸ™‚
