3Boys and floppy, there’s no misplaced frustrations or anger here. We r reasonable people, we just would to know why the change ? Why change the old system when most people are happy with it? Why change to new system when more people are agonized by it? We change for the better, at least in this case, more students are happier if the old system carries on. We voted for the government who promised to build a better n brighter future for our children, din we? We din shift the blame to moe for something they din do. Moe initiated the new directive, din they ? So what is misplaced here?

Pirate, Singapore parents are very educated and resourceful. They definitely know how to game the appeal system. Plus the advanced technology, there’s no way to miss it. If the parents did not appeal, there’s only one reason: they r not interested. So why deprive those poor kids who are interested and trying to yell justice for those who are not interested ?

I am sure that by giving these kids a chance to study at their preferred schools, they will b grateful to the nation for her benevolence. This would be where patriotism starts. Give them a chance, this is their future, not commodities. After all they are Singapore’s future. … Maybe not…After all they r not the top scholars and just a handful, they are not worth caring for???sad to know that. Heartache.

I used to believe that the govt wil give every single child the best, including education. I still wish to believe.

Can I know if your information is accurate? Why all information is so hush hush and no proper official announcement ?

This is causing my family utter distress during this period. My daughter has a strong reason to appeal though not fatal disease of that sort. Must they come to such extend?
