I see haha I’m just trying my luck here. Is your girl enjoying your journey in rgs so far ?
Most CCAs are two days and will be three days during FYSC year. I don’t think there is any CCa conducted once a day. -

Ok noted thanks ! Most ccas 2 days a week? Any CCA once a week
Last year - most of the time my girl wore pinafore twice a week and culotte + house shirt three times a week.. (Tues, Thurs and Friday)
Btw, Tues and Thurs is CCA.
However, next year with new principal onboard, not sure if they will still the same practice or not.

:thankyou:
Thanks so much it is very much appreciatedMomo70\" post_id=\"2124154\" time=\"1701420119\" user_id=\"189715:
from the student handbook:
• Wear pinafore and bring along her tie on days with hall assembly (typically on Monday or Tuesday)
• Wear pinafore and blouse on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
• Wear pinafore/ culottes & PE shirt/ RGS Standardised Green Black White (GBW) Shirt /House T-shirts on
Wednesday and Friday.
• Wear pinafore with white shirt or PE shirt only. PE shirts are allowed to be worn underneath the pinafore till the
end of the PE block, latest being 3rd block.
The school may adjust these requirements If the weather turn very warm. Like wearing pinafore twice a week at most.
hope this helps. -

Thanks slmkhoo. Do you happen to know If promotion criteria still harder at NYGH compared to RGS?
That seems pretty \"surface\" to me. I can vouch that many RGS girls are very happy in their school, and they are nice girls too! Competition is the same in all these good schools - sometimes it's simply felt because the students are strong and motivated to do well, not because they are unkind or unhealthily competitive. There will be some nasty ones in every school - the trick is to learn how to be friends with the nice ones, and ignore the nasty ones. -

We are in a dilemma on which school to choose. Rgs is nearer to my place. Just one bus ride plus walk which takes around 40-45 mins but nygh is much further away. We prefer rgs due to the distance but dd went to the open houses but prefer nygh. Any advice from parents from rgs please?

I think he meant AL6 for English? Cannot be for 4 subjects
Goodness. AL6 means \"relatively weak\"??
I hope we are not setting impossible ideals for our children. -
