CNS:
Thanks for much sharing. I have not seen their "Yun Yu" book yet. I am not sure which class he will be placed in yet. I guess just have to take it as it comes. So now your gal is in another school? By the way, any feedback on the teachers in Poi Ching? Do you think switching of school will be distruptive to the child?

RE: Poi Ching
Thanks for sharing. My boy is in P1. Which level was your girl in when she was transferred to the school? My boy’s chinese is average, based on what you mention, seems like I got to get him to buck up on his chinese a lot… I am really worried he can’t catch up with the chinese standard there esp now it will be 4th term of the school if the transfer is effected. By the way, was your girl transferred during school term or at the end of the term? I am wondering will the new school take into consideration the result my boy had achieved from his previous school when tabulating the final year result.

RE: Poi Ching
My boy got this opportunity to transfer to the school, I am happy with this news but on the other hand, from this forum saw about the tons of homwork, I am worrying as well. Since now it is only about 2.5 months more before the end of academic year, spoke to the school whether can wait till finish last term then faciliate the transfer so that will be no distruption to my boy. However, the reply I got is cannot. I raised my concern on how my boy's able to integrate smoothly into the new school and how the school can help, the rely I got is \"sorry, you have to manage this.\" Wow... the school got no empathy for the student. Think I got to try to talk to the school again... sigh...

So far my child is okay. I did not do any volunteer work. In actual fact, this school is the alternative choice. Initially, I registered for Poi Ching which is much nearer to my place of residence but not successfully in the balloting. Hence got no other choice than to register here during the Phase 2C(supplementary). -
