However, NUS doctor=NTU doctor .All qualify doctor, all same same.

If u apply SGH they don’t care where you come from and same salary. If you open your own clinic who care ?

When you go see doctor clinic did you see which university he came from ?

Same all qualify doctor, especially in Singapore.

      If India doctor then different.

      Peterfamily,

You are very biased and judgemental in your views. Please do not make such sweeping generalisation on a public platform. There are many indian doctors who do very well in our hospital systems.

There are also many YLL doctors who do not perform and who are unethical and they are highlighted in our newspapers. I am sure you must have read about them.

      Well said, WearMask.

It also new story to me. Agreed it might happen, LKC facility not limited only to 150 students per year.

the present 500 students intake among the 3 schools can have the new slot proportion ? And make the 2 school fee not much different.
Since Imperial London can take 360 medicine students per year ?

but this wont take effect from this year right?

Not this year but in subsequent years, in the near future.

LKC can reduce the school fee, once it takes in more students, like YLL.
      Heard LKC got such planning

      Really?? that's new to me

Vice dean mentioned it at LKC Webinar that YLL fees will increase gradually to be almost the same as LKC.

Less students in LKC to share the pie compared to YLL, thus the higher fees. LKC 15O students versus YLL 280. Almost double. I rather pay more for quality education with a smaller cohort. When the cohort gets too big, it gets difficult for the lecturers and tutors to manage.

Just like PAP kindy charges nominal amount for so many children in the class.
Private kindy charges more, but gives the children more attention. Quality education.

NUS halls have no aircon. I wonder why they never upgrade after all these years. The halls are very old, all common toilets.

Heard NTU has special halls for their medic students and it is like condo compared to the rest of the other halls. Such privileges. And they have both aircon and non aircon halls.

When they live in the halls, they goto university. When they stay at home, they are going to school. No different from going to junior colleges.
