If your child is interested in taking up musical, there maybe some option to consider. You may want to consider getting a vocal teacher and get some sort of acting training from Theatre companies such as SRT, Buds Youth Theatre etc. You may check out NAFA Diploma in Theatre course.

Oh yes, many of these theatre companies require audition. So do prepare 2 contrasting monologues.

Hi, are you looking to have your child train as a professional singer like opera singer? cos her age is too young to start as their physical body is not ready for it. Well you can get your child started in group music lesson or music appreciation classes offered in yamaha, cristofori and kindermusik. Most of these classes are short term after which you can get your child started by learning to play an instrument and learn how to sight-read music scores. once he/she is competent enough then you can send your child to audition for Children Choir. If your child has the interest to pursue further the send him/her for professional singing lesson when your child hits 19 years of age. From there he or she will learn traditional songs and lieders.
