Actually my boys are both 80s in chinese. I am actually afraid they might struggle in WLS. However HCL is really too far for me considering i still have a 6 mths baby to bring with me. Any thoughts that you can share with me? They are weak in Compo and Comprehension.

Hi, i’m intending to enroll my P4 and P5 ( next year) into the new center at Yishun. Any feedback on how homework is for 3 hours of intensive class? I’m concern about the amount of homework that they will be bringing home. their current 1-1 tutor give homework like crazy.

they have changed back to higher chinese for P1,P2,P3 for 2017. Not so sure about P4… P5 and P6, you will have the option to choose if you are good.

@mashy, yes. i am very clear on that. i have spoken and asked the chinese teachers as well. no higher Chinese for all P1 this year. past few years is HCL from p1 onwards, maybe this year due to change in syllabus? not too sure.

Not sure if next year also the same, younger boy is joining p1 next year, i shall see and update.

My boy is in P1 at APS this year. They already stop doing HCL in P1. It is normal chinese for P1 at APS this year.
