How about phase 2a2? Any balloting?

Typically Phase 2a has no balloting as there is no quote on the no of seats.

This is old dated news but somehow very disappointing..

Patricia Koh has not retired as she claimed to be doing so, in the communication to the parents. instead she joined G8 group as CEO.

      http://www.edvantage.com.sg/edvantage/news/schoolnews/1406164/Pat_s_Schoolhouse_founder_is_childcare_group_s_new_head.html

wow, even childcare groups have CEO now. shld be a real lucrative biz.

hanging on in pat's coz of the dedicated and commited principal, Miss Wee. πŸ™‚
ooh long time din read tis thread.... apalled to read this!
well well.... think there must be some internal issues that leads to Pat Koh giving up her own CC. 😞

Yes, I think it has changed. I believe the reason given at Orientation was so that the P1s and 2s would not have to stay back in school and have longer days. Perhaps its because SJIJ is at a holding school at the moment?

My son will be so disappointed. He was really looking forward to the soccer programme in School. If it is optional, I do not really see the argument about staying back in school; the kids are there voluntarily!

I heard from existing parents that the soccer clinic is actually open to public. so if really interested can just go down. πŸ™‚

It's not GEP, it is called JTP, a Josephine Talent Program. The boys who made it through the first round of GEP tests are grouped into 2 classes of 25 each.

What are the names of these 2 classes call?

I know one of them is Joseph. My fren's kid is in the class.
      Think another class is Patrick.

My son is in primary 1, and apart from the football academy they can join on Saturdays, I don't know of any optional CCAs...

ooh this sounds fun. Any kid can join or need to go entry test to join?

It would be more fun if there are more optional CCA. Anyway since p1 not much hw... its best time for them to try out many fun activities. πŸ™‚

      May I check…

      1) Does P1 has optional CCA?
      2) Usually what are the days for CCA (even for higher pri levels)

      Thanks

Home only have a new helper with no adult... thus actually not really a choice.
