      Hi all,

Would like to know how you prepare your kids for handling English OE Comprehension. My DD could only get 14 in her prelim paper for this section. She is worried that she may not be able to do well in this section.

Any tips on handling this.... Thanks.

There are several question types such as factual, inferential, sequencing, true/false, cause/effect and vocabulary. Each question type requires different considerations in answering. Go through some worksheets with your daughter and identify which types she most needs help with.

Thanks. Will try to find. ..

Has anyone heard anything from MGS? I believe they have shortlisted the candidates... however, not sure if the letters for interview/rejection have been sent out or not.

      Hi MumAnuTan,

FYI ... My DD's classmate went for MGS interview (Acad) later part of last wk.

      Thanks melody2016.

I guess then they will update the rejected candidates later.

I know from my DD there is a total of 88 girls including her who attended the RGS DSA academic half day camp. I wonder out of these 88, how many attended the first interview and how many invited for the second one.

Heard from my DD abt 80 girls each for maths and english and about 20 girls for science..

When I had called them to enquire I was told that the interview's are being held for the whole of August. So I am not sure if this is the last set of interview.
