I called the CC neary place, my DD’s ceremony will be on22 or 23 Jan. However, letter not yet sent out as it is not ready. The ceremony for1st batch was on 3 Jan.

Fix a "call bell", can be a bicycle bell or karung guni horn at yr mum’s bedside and have one kept with her so that your mum can call yr maid when she needs assistance to get out of bed, go toilet etc…inform yr maid that yr mum’ s safety is priority. She can do the housework when yr mum is resting or sleeping. You can also buy a removable cot side and fix to yr mum bed if you worry she will fall off the bed. Can buy it from any shop that sells hospital equipment for home use. Last time i bought it from St Andrew’s Community Hospital. You can just slot one end under the mattress, the other end is the "cot side".

I called the CC where I submitted the application form. They told me the letters are sent in batches. In my area, the ceremony is held on 3 Jan and I also haven’t received the letter. They told me the MOE system was down so didn’t manage to submit my DD’s application to MOE. As a result, my DD will have her ceremony at later date (late Jan), i.e., joining the later batch. So there are actually more than 1 date for an area…and I am asked to wait for the letter in coming week.

Have anyone received letter informing date of award ceremony? Still waiting... :roll:
