I agree that active alumni members can have priority while the non-active alumni should not be given priority.

It is not about good school or bad school. For me, it's the distance from my house. For crying out loud, primary students are only 7 years old to 12 years old. Why should they have to travel far from home to attend a school, just because the school next to home is not available. Our life as adult is already hectic enough, why should our children live like a busy bee at a young age? e.g. imagine waking up at 5am for school bus. Isn't this ridiculous for a 7 year old?

something is not right with the primary registration system in Singapore, and prioritization should be re-look.

have you tried onemap? it can help to identify schools from your address within 1km, or 1-2 km or 2km beyond. it is the official apps used by moe to determine distance during p1 registration.[/quote]

I agree with the shortening the distance of applications.

My house is just opposite Rosyth, basically walk out of the lift, cross the road is Rosyth gate, but I am worry that my girl won’t not be able to enter Rosyth, and worst still, she is dragon year baby

I am not into famous school, but just coincidentally Rosyth is opposite my house. If my girl can’t get into Rosyth, I don’t know what other primary school nearby.

I’ve read some articles that primary schools are not accepting parent volunteer anymore, but hasn’t seen any announcement from MOE. is this real?
