Wats the promotion for May?

Can I confirm that there will be no open house for this year? I just feel ‘weird’ about having to register my child in a school where I don’t really know much info. What I know are all from website, I would want to talk to the staff, the kids there and get a feel of the environment… Recently I just went to a open house and I realized my perspective changed after the visit, it is not what I thought the school is prior to the visit.


Also, would like to know whether kids from non-English speaking family will be scrutinized or face difficulty since many mentioned about the school’s English standard very high. Thanks

I am wondering if parents can drop by the school to find out more during the register action period? I don’t see any notice about the school open house on the website, and I find it difficult to choose between haig girls and ij. anyone has any other comments abt the sch? thanks

I’ve requested to look at how the lessons are conducted in a cc (I’ve kinda decided to put my child in), but was told I can only watch through the glass window outside the centre. my intention is to see how the class management skills and whether the teacher is strict or lenient so as to prepare my child for better adaptability to the new environment. the previous cc allowed me to stay with my child for the first 3 days but this cc does not allow. would like to know is it a norm for such practice?kindly advise.

I would like to know what is the difference between normal phonics and phonics using montessori method. I’ve just signed up my kid for the phonics montessori at CC and attended the first lesson. Worksheets given are typical ones used in PCF kindergarten and I just like to know what to expect when the course used the word "montessori".
